1. solaris9 4/04 64bit 이상부터 지원 한다.
2.1TB 이상 지원
3. slice2 번은 파티션 할당으로 사용할 수 있다.
4. ZFS 기본적으로 EFI를 사용
5. 실리더정보나 메타정보는 더이상 vtoc 에 저장되지 않고 disks에 저장되며 slice8 에 저장한다.
6. partitions 할당은 0 sector 부터 사용할 수 없으며 34번 sector 부터 할당 된다.
solaris 9 버젼 이상부터 disk label이 두개가 지원된다.
기존에 사용하는 SMI 와 추가된 EFI 이렇게 두개중 하나를 선택 할수 있다.
