vfstab 파일은 초기 solaris 가 부팅 했을 때 마운트 지점을 찾는 곳이다. 맨처음 disksuite 설정한 논리적 경로로 변경해 준다.

위의 bootblk 명령은 솔라리스 부팅시 초기 bootloader 의 위치 경정을 해준다. linux 경우 맨처음 슬라이스에 bootloader 가 설치 되지만 solaris 경우 8번째 슬라이스에 bootloader가 설치가 된다.
